Dhenu Atithya

Location is good and hidden. It has a good parking space. Rooms and services were also good, they had restaurant in hotel. They said that hot water was available from 6:00 am to 8:01 am but hot water gone half and hour before. However they told they will bring us a immersion rod but they didn't came in room it's only good for those who wants to stay one night in Murdeshwar near temple. I thought it would be a nice hotel and it was but it disappointed me. 😔

They provided us room early morning itself around 5.30am that was good. We took 3bed room for 1600, it was not worthy, rooms and bed were not clean and not properly ventilated. Room was smelly. There was dust alovera the room. Bathroom was not hygiene. No proper hospitality. I wouldn't recommend this for hygiene concerns

I am writing to share a recent and highly disappointing experience I had with a booking made through the YatraDham website for Dhenu Atithya. I booked a 4 Bed AC Room (Season Period) at Dhenu Atithya via YatraDham. Upon arrival, I was informed by Dhenu Atithya staff that they do not have any 4 Bed AC Rooms and that they had previously communicated this to YatraDham. Despite this, I received no update or cancellation from YatraDham, and my booking confirmation was issued. Given that I was traveling with 4 adults and 2 children, I had specifically booked and paid for a 4-bed accommodation. Instead, Dhenu Atithya provided a 2 Bed AC Room with two extra mattresses. I requested at least a 3 Bed Room, but this was also denied. We were then adjust in the small room despite paying the applicable charges for a 4 Bed Room. I find it unacceptable that both YatraDham and Dhenu Atithya failed to notify me that the reserved room type was unavailable, allowing me to only learn of the discrepancy upon arrival at the hotel. If the room is unavailable, YatraDham should not list it, and Dhenu Atithya should have contacted me upon receiving the booking confirmation. I have already attempted to contact YatraDham regarding this issue and have not received a response. I urge potential customers to be cautious when making bookings for Dhenu Atithya through the YatraDham website. This incident demonstrates a lack of transparency and proper business practice from both parties.

One of worst room i have seen so far...the room size is too small for 1200, full of dust under the cot.. By mistake we paid for 2 days which is 2400 that totally spoiled our trip mood. They will clean the room after we reach the room..while we enter the room all the dust were thrown outside..it is suffocating inside the room, if we open the window we can a place where all the dusts were thrown. Pls dont waste your money booking here

Strong location is the only attraction. Our room was tiny, with an even tinier 'double bed'. Bathroom fittings were not maintained. There was a continuous sound of leaking water. Electric fixtures too were loose - great chances of an electric shock. The staff unnecessarily rings your doorbell, at all meals times, to inform you of the availability of meals in their restaurant. It's a pity that such a promising location is being neglected.

I booked this hotel room for ₹1600 and it was the worst stay experience. The room was full of dust, dirty bathroom, unhygienic bedsheets, and very poor maintenance. They didn’t even provide drinking water. Totally bad service, rude staff, and zero hospitality. Waste of money and not worth the price at all. This hotel is not clean, not safe, and not recommended for families or solo travelers. Please avoid this place if you are looking for a good stay.

Strictly won’t recommend this place. Had bed bugs and room was on 1st floor which opens up to restaurant. Certainly won’t recommend anyone to stay in 1st floor. Worst part is, when I complained about bed bugs, they didn’t even understood what bed bugs are. Don’t go here if you are getting a cheaper room for your family.

Decent rooms in Murudeshwar. Pillows and Bathrooms can be maintained better. Staff is helpful. Location is good to walk to temple with decent parking for 5 cars.
