Hotel Shri Ramanatha, Murudeshwar is a good place to enjoy non-veg food at moderate prices.
Tried chicken pepper dry for the first time here, and it was just awesome. The chicken was perfectly cooked, and the pepper was well balanced, making the dish very flavorful. We also ordered masala pomfret fish, which was good and well prepared.
Overall, the food quality is satisfying, the pricing is reasonable, and it’s a good spot for a tasty meal in Murudeshwar.

The place is kinda shabby, lots of things broken, dusty everywhere, its evident that it has lost it charm long back.
On top if that, food was too overpriced. Few pieces of prawns 200rs, single pc of a medium size kingfisher 200 rs !!
In a nutshell, complete delabreaker.

Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Hype
I don’t normally leave bad reviews, but this restaurant truly missed the mark.
To start, the place did not feel clean — sticky tables, floors that looked like they hadn’t been swept in days, and an unpleasant odor coming from the kitchen area. It was hard to enjoy the atmosphere when basic hygiene was clearly lacking.
The food? Even worse. What was supposed to be a hot, fresh meal came out lukewarm and bland. The ingredients didn’t taste fresh at all — the vegetables were soggy, the meat was overcooked and dry, and nothing had any real flavor. It felt like it had been sitting out too long before being served.
Service was slow, and when I politely mentioned the food wasn’t great, the waiter just shrugged. No apology, no offer to fix it. Very disappointing.
This could be a great spot with a deep clean, a new chef, and a staff that cares — but for now, I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

Delicious food, warm service and very economical! The place might be a bit small and cramped, but the food and service more than made up for it!
Ordered 2 plates of fish curry rice (with a sizeable piece of bangda fry), prawn fry, shark kabab, seer fish masala fry (which was almost a foot long!) and crab sukka. All that cost us was a very economical ₹890!
Not really advisable for large groups, but they have takeaway. If you're in Murudeshwar, please do give this place a try.

Hotel shri Ramanatha veg & Non-veg Worst hotel in murdeshwar. We found 3 cockroaches in the food and when we inform it to the owner of the restaurant he is not ready to accept the mistake. Also he mentioned no one can do anything because he is the local resident. I request the food safety department may look into the issue.
