Mr. Kamath was very welcoming during our phone calls, but his hospitality in person made it feel even more friendly. He also introduced us to hidden gems not shown in YouTube travel blogs. He is highly professional and well-versed with the area.

Our stay at Kamath Vaibhav Homestay was absolutely delightful. It truly felt like a home away from home. The rooms were spotlessly clean and very well-maintained and comfortable, perfect for our family.
The highlight was the incredible hospitality from Mr. Bharath. He was so welcoming, helpful and genuinely caring, offering great local tips for visiting the Murudeshwar Temple and the beach. The location is excellent—just a short walk and quick drive to the main attractions.
If you are looking for a calm, clean, and genuinely warm place to stay in Murudeshwar, I highly recommend booking here!

If you are planning to visit Murudeshwar, Kamath Vaibhav Homestay should be you go to option for your stay. 5mins-10mins auto ride for Murudeshwar Railway Station and 10mins walk from the Murudeshwar Temple. It is an excellent home stay which is walkable to temple. The owners are very friendly and feels like we are in the Relative's home rather than just a homestay. Rooms are very clean and hygienic.
Due to some personal reasons we were not supposed to eat outside. They allowed us to cook anywhere in the homestay and we preferred cooking in the room only and there were no objections on any of our requests. They also helped us by bringing required vegetables from outside for the timely cooking.
We had come with pre-planned places for the sightseeing but the owner helped us to plan additional places according to the time.
Overall I would prefer this homestay if anybody wants to have homely stay.

Very bad experience. This is not a proper lodge but a house where the owner stays next to the guest room. Parking is poor, hospitality is lacking, towels are not provided, bedsheets smell bad, and there is no hot water. The owner’s wife behaves uncomfortably and slippers are not allowed inside, which was not informed earlier. Although the owner speaks politely, there are no basic facilities at all. Not worth staying here. Please avoid to prevent regret.
