This South Indian breakfast restaurant is a true coastal delight—where flavourful food meets a stunning sea view. If you love starting your morning with good food and an even better backdrop, this place feels like a perfect start to the day. The moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by the sight and sound of the ocean. Large windows and open seating let you enjoy the gentle breeze and the sparkling blue water as you settle in for breakfast. It’s calm, refreshing, and sets the exact mood you want for a relaxed morning meal. The food is the real highlight. The dosas are crisp, the idlis are soft and fluffy, the vadas are perfectly fried, and the accompanying chutneys and sambar are rich with authentic South Indian flavours. Whether you go for a masala dosa, a plate of piping hot upma, or a traditional breakfast thali, everything tastes fresh, comforting, and lovingly prepared. Their filter coffee deserves a special mention—strong, aromatic, and served the classic way. The staff is friendly, prompt, and attentive without being intrusive, making the experience feel smooth and pleasant. Prices are fair, portions are generous, and the overall vibe is relaxed and welcoming. If you’re looking for a peaceful breakfast spot where delicious South Indian food pairs perfectly with the beauty of the sea, this restaurant is a must-visit. It’s the ideal place to begin your day with great flavours and a breathtaking view.

Naveen Beach Restaurant is mainly known for its location and view. It’s one of the best spots to enjoy food with a direct view of the Raja Gopura and the giant Shiva statue, which is truly impressive and scenic. The food is on the expensive side, mainly due to the prime location. In terms of taste, the food was average and didn’t really match the pricing. Overall, the hype is mostly because of the view rather than the food. Worth visiting once for the scenery, but don’t expect anything exceptional from the cuisine.

While this establishment offers an exquisite seating arrangement with a breathtaking view of the sea, every other aspect—from the culinary offerings to the service—falls woefully short of what one might anticipate. Numerous items on the menu are not available, and those that are often disappoint in terms of flavor. Guests are encouraged to limit their orders to simple beverages such as lime soda or tea, and to savor the picturesque view quickly before making their exit. Unfortunately, the overall experience at this venue does not justify a visit and could easily be disregarded. Furthermore, the demeanor of the staff seems to lack warmth. A solitary star is awarded solely for its prime location, which provides a tranquil setting for enjoying tea in the evening, with a view of the sunset and beach, if one is fortunate enough to catch that moment.

Location of place is beautiful. You can see the vast expanse of the sea from its first floor. Food is decent as well and freshly cooked. We opted for thalis and it was cheap. What can be seriously looked into is service. Waiters are laid back. They don't remember your complete menu. They won't serve you water or glasses until you call out several times. Seating arrangement is poor as well. Plastic chairs and tables are kept. We went around 3pm and it was not much crowded as the temple also opens at 3pm. There are no washrooms in restaurant. Come to this restaurant only for the view and if extremely hungry. Else there are other better options hardly 2-3 km from the temple
