We stayed here with our friends and family in December 2025. The name of the guest house is “RNS New Guest House.” Do not be misled by the word “New”—it does not mean the building is new. The guest house is actually very old and not properly maintained. Even basic cleanliness is lacking; spider webs were not cleaned.
Within the same premises, there are several different guest houses or hotels with different room rates. Please confirm clearly which hotel they are actually providing, as this can be confusing. Although it is advertised that all rooms have a sea-facing view, this does not mean that all rooms or surroundings are clean or well maintained.
The staff mentioned that the entire property, including the hotels and temples, is privately owned. It appears that their main focus is only on earning money rather than providing good service. Even the temple lacks proper management, and there is no effective system to handle large crowds.

IF I COULD GIVE A NEGATIVE MARKING FOR THE STAFF AND ROOMS WOULD SURELY DO IT...We stayed at rn's guest house for a day. The rooms as displayed in the pic are not the same. It is a very old property and rooms are also old. There is no room service. The staff is very arrogant. Extra bed, we ordered was a floor mattress and we were charged. 780/- highly dissatisfied. There is no room service at all. No intercom, no Wi-Fi and the charges are too exorbitant for this sort of a room. The staff are not welcoming to the guests. They just don't want guests in that hotel.Their behaviour is very rude.I am highly dissatisfied with my stay at this hotel. Complimentary breakfast offered is just three items, idli, vada and dosa, which is very, very horrible and I haven't experienced this in any other hotels.I have been to. Worst, please if you are travelling with children.

We called and reserved a room with the RNS guesthouse and was told that their standard rooms were good and having sea view. However, the rooms were old, not well maintained, and without basic services like room service or even wifi, even after paying the same standard rates as any other hotel. The extra bed we asked for, is merely a mattress to be laid on the floor. While checking in, they asked us multiple times if we wanted to "see the room" which is not a usual practice, seemed like they tried to get us to change our mind to choose a costlier and better room after letting us soak in the horrendous state of the room we had initially paid for.

We booked three rooms at the RNS guest house for one night stay. Right from the word go, there was nothing but disappointment. The reception for the guest house is located in a different place from the actual guest house.
After completing the formalities, we drove up the road which was in a very bad condition. On reaching the guest house, we were in for a rude shock. The place looked very rundown. The rooms were very average. The locks and hinges were all rusted. It is only with some difficult could we lock the bathroom door from inside.
There is no hot water kettle, coffee poder, tea etc in the room. No toiletries were provided.
There were birds resting in the balcony and were dirtying the place.
We had asked for an additional bed for one of the rooms. They could provide only a floor bed which was ok with us. However when they brought one, we were shocked to see the huge patch of stains on it (presumably blood stains). When we expressed our shock and disappointment and asked for a replacement, their reply was even more shocking - that most of the bed as similar and we do not have to worry as they would cover it witha clean bed sheet.
Overall, it was a bad experience

No provision of tea or coffee maker in the room.
