Clean spacious AC rooms with temple view, has a lift, good and efficient reception service, have Indraprastha restaurant in the ground floor. Don’t expect them to open before 7.30-8 am for a cup of tea. One can walk across to Kamat Yatri Nivas restaurant. Has ample car parking which is safe with CCTV. You can find a car cleaning boy next door. They are rigid on check out with a small extension of an hour. Hot water available from morning 5-9. We may not need hot water after 9. This is the closest accommodation with a reasonable tariff.

The non AC rooms were not clean and the toilets were not well maintained. Forget about Wi-Fi, even normal network was not available. When asked about WiFi the boy on reception was non cooperative. There are better places around with similar rice range.

Guys Need to Highlight My WORST EXPRIENCE in the Royal Retreat. I am from the HOSPITALITY Background that too from GOA . I never share a BAD REVIEW of a place. But I need to tell prospective future customers. The Rooms are well designed as I believe that the owner is from Construction Sector. Firstly I was told a Room Rate of ₹ 4000/- then it was increased to ₹4500/- Since i was traveling with my family and child and the time was 23.00 hrs. I didn't want to argue instead I was told by the Most Unique STAFF that I didn't hear the rate properly. As if I was a DEAF Man... I asked for a discounted rate and they offered my ₹4000/- but when i went at the reception counter to pay as they asked me to pay ₹4300/- on which I lost it there. Secondly since we were traveling we were hungry so went and brought food from a staff outside. On Requesting the Reception STAFF for Plates and Spoons They DENIED for it saying there Resturant was Closed and no Cutlery will be provided. Thirdly it was called continuously early morning by some new Reception Staff and asked to Move my car parked at the side of the Hotel Indraprastha which is their pure veg restaurant. As they said it Blocked there entrance which was almost 15 mts. And I didn't Move my Car coz it was a unlogical excuse. Fourthly I went to have a cup of Morning Tea at Hotel Indraprastha which costed me ₹25/- which was ok.. but the RECEPTION CASHIER GIRL Refused to take my order and asked me to give it to someone else. Wow Next Level of HOSPITALITY.. Fifty On returning to my room at 10.40 am the Housekeeping staff starting asking me.. when can you check out so I cud clean the room.. and I asked here to shut up in a very polite manner. Mr. Owner and Management you have spend a lot of capital in making your place good. PLEASE Requesting You to Change the ATTITUDE of Your Disgusting STAFF.. All the best. We booked 2 sea view rooms . The view is very scenic as you can directly see the temple and sea from these rooms. The rooms were big in size and the property is very near to shiva temple That's all good about this hotel. Apart from the location of the hotel and the size of the rooms , there are a lot of drawbacks in this property especially in their services. We booked 2 sea view rooms which costed total 9k approx per night total. But surprisingly even after charging so much (considering usual room rate of other hotels at murudeshwar) they have not provided basic things . Even though in room amenities they mentioned that wifi is available , after we checked in, they said wifi is not there .it is only available only in reception area. Who the hell will come down from 3rd floor to reception to use wifi!!?? In room everyday we had to ask housekeeping to provide complementary water bottle. Why we have to do so ?? It should be hotel's responsibility to provide complementary water bottle by themselves. In room it was mentioned kettle is available . Although it was not They didn't provide basic toiletries( only one medimix soap and 2 clinic plus satche ) like handwash toothpaste brush etc.. they don't provide tea/coffee anything.. charging this much and not providing any such things is ridiculous. We booked 2 rooms but had checked into one of gthe 2 rooms @8pm( as immediately after reaching murudeshwar, we planned to have a trip to udupi. So we put our luggages into a room and left) but when we checked in, we found that the curtains are completely torn and was hanging down to the floor . TV is not working. Even many follow ups they fixed the curtain( although not completely) but they didn't bother to fix the TV. They came to fix it , but without fixing and informing us, they left . They had the whole day to have the room ready. But I don't know why they didn't bother to do that . It s not that it was croweded . Hardly few guests were there on weekday when we chceked in. There is no room service available. No one came to clean rooms during our entire stay Even for tea/coffee, you have to come down and go to restaurant(it is adjacent) . Geyser was not working all the time of the day . Some of the Ceiling lights were not working. Overall, apart from easy access to the temple and beach , we had many unpleasant experience at this property. This property needs to improve their services a lottttttt. Otherwise it a good property to stay to avail beach and shiva temple So think of all these before booking at this property

Outstanding location. You will get a direct view of the temple as well as the Shiva Statue and the beautiful beach from the window of your room itself.The hotel is low on facilities but the rooms are spacious and very neat.

Hotel management was really good & cooperative. Due to some technical issues AC was not functioning. Rooms were clean and free from pests. Overall experience staying here was really good.

Check in and check out is quite smooth. Friendly staff, rooms are bit worn out but guess it’s the best you could get in murudeshwar after checking few other hotels around. I would definitely stay here again unless some new property pops up with greater amenities

Great location as it is walkable to Murudeshwar temple and there's a nearby restaurant as well. The hotel appears to be recently renovated . Bathroom could be more clean and the bath towels provided were really old .
