Wild Woods Resort

Nice restaurant but now it is not available for use It was totally damaged from a toofan. After si many year no it was undertaken by other people. Now it seems to be renewed the place after so it is available to stay in it. When it was open it is just like a heaven

if nature and rafting is what excites you, then wild woods spa is your place. I've been there with my family and friends and this place has never disappointed me by any means. Make sure you visit the resort during autumn to enjoy rafting, athough the play section for the kids could be improvised, it still nerve disappoints you with it's incredible biodiversity of various plants and insects. The chef's here deserve a raise for making such delicious home cooked meal. And overall this place is somewhere you'd wanna go when you feel you want get a piece of nature and forget the city life and fall into the beauty of nature and embrace it. This place has given me a lot good memories, which i shall always cherish. To conclude my very long words of gratitude, I'd like to thank for how the management team has taken care of the plants by not destroying it to a greater extent:)

Extremely courteous and helpful staff. Food menu is fixed but the quality taste and quantity of the food is amazing. The place is still under maintenance activity due to flood damage as informed by one of the staffs but one section of the resort is still open including spa swimming pool etc . Had a wonderful and relaxing time there. The only suggestion i have is the whole place requires more maintenance .I am not sure whether the wildly growing plants and shrubs are purposefully maintained like that to give it a natural feel or is actually the lack of maintenance. The villas are all neat and comfy.

A resort in the lap of nature in the midst of a forest. From the main road, it takes about 10 minutes to ride through the Forest.|| ||There is a waterfall you can trek up to but the water dries up in summer and even a river running right through the property (which was unfortunately dry during our visit) and even a Pool (which was not Functional) on May 2oth 2019. We stayed here for only 1 day. We were told that around October to November would be the best time to visit this Resort.||||*There are Beautiful, Luxury Cozy Villas surrounded by trees and plants. Villas are spacious attached with living areas followed by dining, the room is well appointed, with a King Size bed with A/C and bathroom (which was MASSIVE never seen such a huge Bathroom in any resort). The rooms were clean and well maintained.||* Great 1 hr. nature walk that is complimentary was very refreshing and was very educating. Their collection of plants, trees and herbs in the property is phenomenal, many with medicinal properties.||* The lack of mobile and internet connectivity made it all the more peaceful. For once nobody was over the phone.||* You can hear only chirping sounds of birds, whining monkeys around and insects.||* Nice indoor spaces, top of the restaurant had a good playing area for kids Chess, Carom, Archery, Badminton and Cricket. My kids enjoyed the Activity Area.||* Even Cycling and Trampolina were there. ||* Service was prompt and the staff are very friendly and polite they try really hard to take care of guests within their limited means. Overall there is a homely feel to the place.||* Food was limited but tasty. Breakfast was Indian, Evening Snacks was provided (French fries and Ketchup (which was freshly made) and Lunch & Dinner consisted of (2 Non-Veg and 2 Veg items plus a sweet).||||I feel that Property maintenance can be improved(Removing the dried Leaves)||And while booking we weren't informed about the River being Dry nor about the Pool(not functional)since we did the booking directly that was disappointing.||||Overall Wildwoods is a place which appeals to all - kids, elders alike. Hope to visit and experience the Stream & Waterfall. ||Thank you, everyone, at Wild Woods Spa Resort for making our short vacation a memorable one.

A small river runs through the resort , unfortunately there was not much of water in the river . Around October to November would be a good time to visit. Their collection of plants is phenomenal, many with medicinal properties. Staff are very friendly and overall there is a homely feel to the place. Food was tasty . Activities like the nature walk is very refreshing. Value for money.

Travelled to Wild Woods resort in Jan 2019 and was very impressed with the resort over there. The resort is extremely eco friendly nestled in the Western ghats. Great care has been taken to make the resort part of the Eco system. Special mention must be given to both the staff and the owners of the resort for putting environment before profits.||||The staff members are extremely courteous and go beyond the call of duty to take care of the guests. Chandrakanth went out of the way to ensure we were taken care in the restaurant. Kids had a good time both with the outdoor activities like kayaking and indoor sports activities in the resort. The whole family had a beautiful trek to Koosalli waterfalls under the superb guidance of Ratnakar. His knowledge of Flora & Fauna was impressive and made the whole trip enjoyable for the whole family. Thank you to everyone in Wild Woods resort for making our stay fantastic and enjoyable.

One of our best family holidays. The oneness with nature, the calmness, the serenity all of it packaged into a lovely resort. A home away from home. The spas were great, the hiking trails and the cycling tracks give you a workout which lasts 3 days and the kayaking were a different experience altogether. The hiking trails need a special mention because the guide was very good and helpful and the scenery was breathtaking and awe inspiring. Folks who did the hiking trails in Bali , Fiji and the Hawaiian rain forest trails just couldnt believe that our beautiful land had such lovely trails to offer and its untouched and unsullied by humans. The shallow slow moving streams, the birds in rhe background the no rush living brings us back to our laid back lives before the advent of the mobile phones. The food is great, the breakfasts are healthy and the sports rooms gives you enough choices to enjoy most Indian indoor games. But what impressed us most were the staff. Very courteous & well trained , clean and efficient . They did a very good job. If you ever need to spend undisturbed time with family and friends do enjoy around the campfire . The main USP for us was of course the fact that there's no Mobile range at all. Zilch .. Nada. So keep your phones and worries aside.

We enjoyed wild woods resort for a number of reasons.|| Firstly it's located in a beautiful jungle with a stream flowing beside it, it's also really close to the beach. There is a waterfall you can trek up to but the water dries up in summer so the best time to visit is before February.|| There are cosy cottages surrounded by numerous trees and plants. It was interesting to learn about all the flora on our tour through the property. || The food is very good with lots of local specialties, we enjoyed all the meals and didn't get bored eating in the same place for two days.|| We loved the cottages with the four post beds and large bathrooms built with local materials.|| There are enough activities here to keep both kids and adults happy.|| We also felt that the place was very reasonably priced for all that they offered and would like to visit again but preferably in winter!
