Sara Bike Rental - Honnavar

The worst bike service, the bike was not well maintained. They were too old. Brakes were not working and the suspension was worst. Because of which I met with an accident as well. We trusted them and paid for 4 days rent in advance and they were not issuing any refund when we went back to return the bike. Not recommended at all. They charged ₹700/- per day, which I believe is too much, given the bikes are very old and not maintained. Reply to the comment: We requested after completing 3rd day only. We picked up bike around 2pm on 1st October and came back to return or exchange at 9am on 4th October. We waited for half an hour at the shop but no one came. We had a conversation on phone call as well. Attached the screenshot of phone calls. Unfortunately, we had to continue with the same bike as we could not return it. Even on 2nd October, we came back to repair brakes. The guy there tried to fix brakes but it was not fixed anyways. And the bike was not maintained definitely. See the video. The tail light is broken, the helmet doesn't have the glass, the bike is visibly old. And the things which can not be seen in the video are, the pathetic brakes and shock absorbers. I literally vomitted because of the pathetic shock absorbers. After the third day, we came back to return the bike specifically because of the brakes. We had a plan for yana caves on 4th day, which was very risky with this bike. The brakes were not working at all and it was risky to drive in the mountains with this bike. And I had met with an accident anyways because the brakes. The brakes did not work and the bike did not stop at all. My husband tried everything to control the bike but obviously, without brakes he did not have any option either on the steep.

I took activa for 2 days. They delivered me vehicle at my hotel and after 2 days they picked vehicle . Condition of vehicle provided to me was very good.

Amazing experience. Wonderful, trustworthy and very friendly staff that helped me have a great time in Honnavar. Bike worked perfectly and no issues, all reliable. Definitely worth hiring a bike here to see real and quiet Honovar with ease and joy in your heart

Cons- Limited Options: The service only offers Ntorq mopeds, which might not suit everyone’s preferences. Those seeking a broader variety of bikes may be disappointed. Old Bikes: The mopeds are functional but clearly aged, with some showing signs of wear and tear. While they get the job done, they might lack the comfort and efficiency of newer models.

Absolutely pathetic service. Handed over a faulty bike without even basic checks, refused a refund, overcharged us even after switching to a cheaper vehicle, and showed zero accountability. Pure daylight robbery.
