We have booked D’Souza Home stay at Murudeshwar through booking.com site and it was showing confirmed and it was mention tht there is no need to do prepayment and the payment should be done once reached the destination…After reaching Gokarna we have informed the property owner tht we will be reaching in hour and he said ok but after reaching the said property as our booking was confirmed the property person showed our room n told us to enter the house. After sometime we had ask the property owner for utensils as we need to prepare sone snacks she told it is not included and we are suppose to pay separately for the utensils..After sometime the property owner son i.e Nixon called me and started arguing with me and spoke very rudely. He asked me why you entered the house without registration? Thn we showed him our confirmation about the booking but he is telling me to checkout as he have given the room to someone else as they have done prepayment..When my husband asked him the solution he started arguing with him along with his mother. I recommend people not to visit this premises henceforth as they dont know how to behave with their customers and they are not providing better facilities to the customers as per the list they have mention on their profile.. There is no proper usage of hot water in both bathrooms and their shower is also not working properly.They cut their Airconditioner fuse from outside in morning before the checkout i.e 12 pm and ask not to use their cylinder in Morning for tea preparation.. I don’t know if they have so much of problem with customers thn why they are giving their rooms on rental basis…

great stay at D’Souza Homestay in Honnāvar! Convenient location near the train station, clean and comfortable rooms, and a peaceful view. The hosts were kind and helpful — perfect place for a relaxed stay.

Worst experience don't go by seeing photo's...owner talking with customer is very rude..he collected 5000 for 1 nite no gas n no proper water facilities...

Booked this place for a family stay and the host has all inaccurate and misleading information posted on the booking portals. While boasting of amenities like kitchen and other things the host extorts money if you want to use it although mentioned and spies on you through the window giving absolutely no privacy! Improper heating facilities and non functioning kitchen and washrooms! The host also had the audacity to make a fake complaint to the booking portal to further extort money! Such listings should be banned.

Rooms are not good and as well as host is very bad behaviour so don't go this home stays
