We stayed in the 2 Queen Suite and had a truly memorable experience. Das Uncle, his wife, and their sons Kedar and Arjun were incredibly warm and friendly. They made us feel right at home with their hospitality and kind nature.
The food was absolutely delicious, especially the crab roast and their inhouse bakery items both were standout highlights of our stay. We only stayed for one night, but it was so peaceful and relaxing. The view from the balcony overlooking the sea shore was simply mesmerizing.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a homely and peaceful getaway with great food and warm hosts!

The Home was well furnished and displayed antiques everywhere and Beach view from the Balcony was stunning.The service was exceptional. The specially was delicious and had a unique taste.
Evenings spent chatting, laughing and playing chess and carrom with our hosts were the highlight of our stay The rates were very reasonable making it an excellent Money for Value Experience.
We highly recommend the Mavalli Heritage Home to anyone looking for a warm welcoming Home Stay!

My mother and I spent a lovely week here in March. The home is absolutely beautiful , nestled among mango trees and a stone’s throw away from the beach. The rooms were very spacious, and we even had a little balcony with a view of the beach, where we would sit and have morning coffee. The home is beautifully appointed with antique furniture and it feels like you are living in a 1920s home in Mangalore, but with all of the modern amenities you would like. And all of the meals we ate were beautifully prepared, locally sourced, delicious and so different than anything you might find in a hotel. But the best part of this vacation was the lovely family that owns this home. Raji, Devdas and Arjun made us feel so much at home and were so kind and welcoming. Evenings were often spent chatting on the balcony or playing carrom/chess with them. Every morning, Arjun and I would go for a long walk on the pristine beach nearby. And of course, the three adorable pups, Tessie, Tito and Kayser always kept us entertained with their antics. We came as strangers but left as family friends.

Amazing stay didn’t expect it. Had a great time and made a new friend. My stay at this homestay truly felt like home. I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with Arjun, who made me feel so welcome. Aunty was incredibly supportive and treated me like a member of the family, which made the experience even more special. Overall, it was a memorable experience where I felt at home.
