Murudeshwar Beach House

Worst experience ever in my whole experience of hotel/lodge stays in India. We booked it following the "good reviews" on MMT. We booked 3 rooms there and here is what we saw: 1. The rooms were not even fully constructed it seems, the walls had open large holes in the name of ventilation, the shower's knob was missing, there was only one socket available in a room and that was far from bed. The room's condition was old and smelly with the seapage. Another floor is under construction and it looks scary even in the day. 2. Service was pathetic. The extra mattress given was torn in 2 parts, the bedsheets were dirty, the rooms didn't seem ready at all for the guests, they didn't provide us even the complimentary toiletries. Whenever we complained about something, the receptionist looked helpless and told us that this is how things were there usually. There were insects, I understand there can be insects on nature resorts and beach houses, but then the rooms should be prepared keeping that in account. 3. We had to talk to MMT for about an hour (including call hold time) to get us a refund for this misinformation on their site. 4. After we got this booking cancelled, the manager/owner showed up for the first time and started pushing us out and threatening us to quickly vacate. Overall, this stay has to be highlighted here and at every travel site, so no one else have to experience this pathetic stay and a misbehaving loud manager/owner.

Its one of worst experience I have ever seen in my life, I was visited entire south places in India and i was covered some places in north and also I was visited Bangkok and phuket also bit this is my first worst experience in my life because, in this hotel they didn’t provide minimum basic things like water bottle, towels, soaps and blankets while I’m check into the hotel and rooms are also worst , worst means rooms are very dirty and there is no proper maintenance and management staff also not supporting and help for us, overall it’s one worst property in Murudeshwar , Iam strongly say to Who wants to take this property, don’t take this property at any cost…..

This Lodge has an awesome temple view and from the lodge it will hardly take 7-8minutes even if you go by walk. The price of rooms were affordable too. Highly recommended. The chimtu’s (puppies) were friendly too.
